Applebee’s Honors Veterans with a Free Meal on Veterans Day
This 2017 Veterans Day, Applebee’s again honored veterans and active-duty U.S. military by offering them a free meal from a selection of entrees at more than 1,800 restaurants nationwide.

Applebee’s raised $1.3 million for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, making it the most successful fundraising campaign in 13 years.
A check for $112,534.25 was presented to local Special Olympics chapters in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. The funds were raised through support of Applebee’s customers, as well as an Applebee’s golf tournament in September.
Applebee’s in Texas partnered with guests to provide more than 250,000 meals to neighbors in need at local food banks.
Seniors in high school across North Dakota and western Minnesota have the opportunity to take home a $1000 scholarship, starting in November and going through May.
Breakfast at Applebee’s restaurant in the Berea community of Cleveland will help raise funds for Maryssa’s Mission Foundation – a Berea-based non-profit that supports the families of medically fragile children.
Applebee’s restaurants on Fairmount Avenue in Dunkirk, NY, donated 10 percent of the cost of each meal to the 2017 Step Up for Autism celebration.
Joseph’s Pantry, a ministry to feed the hungry in Freeport, IL, held a flapjack breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s where tickets were $5 at the door.
Applebee’s in Heath, OH, held a school supply drive during the month of August. For anyone who brought in supplies, they received $5 off their purchase.
Members of the Central Texas Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee hosted a “tip-a-cop” event, where the money raised went to the Special Olympics Texas Program.
A ‘Dining to Donate’ event was organized for local Southport Lieutenant Aaron Allan, who was killed in line of fire. The event donated 15 percent of proceeds to the Lt. Aaron Allan Family Fund.
On November 14 and 15, Applebee’s donated 15 percent of all checks from open to close to the Colorado nonprofit Vacations for Warriors.
