Our teams continue to take thoughtful and intentional steps to safeguard our communities in alignment with federal and local health guidance.

  • All Applebee’s restaurants continue to follow the CDC and local government guidelines for dine-in and To Go service.
  • Restaurants provide guests access to menus how they choose via single-use disposable menus, laminated menus, tabletop device (available in 98% of restaurants), or they can access the menu on their own device at Laminated menus and tabletop devices are sanitized after each use.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout each restaurant for Team Members and Guests.
  • Each restaurant adheres to regimented cleaning protocols, including disinfecting, and sanitizing throughout the day.
  • Contactless payment is available in select restaurants. At restaurants with tabletop devices, guests can use it to pay directly at the table. And many of these devices also allow for even more enhanced contactless options including Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Tap to Pay vs a swipe.

  • At many locations, the number of Carside parking spaces have been increased to take care of our guests who prefer pick-up or delivery.

  • All restaurants have a wellness-check process in place to confirm Team Members are healthy and meet requirements to work. State and local requirements are followed when it comes to specific check-in questions or fever screening. All locations are following current federal or local quarantining and isolation guidelines, as needed.
  • All Team Members, Managers and Restaurant Support Center staff are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated and boosted.
  • In areas where masks are mandated indoors, you will see our Team Members in masks. In all restaurants, unvaccinated Team Members and Managers are required to wear a mask at work. Fully vaccinated Team Members and Managers are encouraged to wear masks, but may still wear a mask by choice.
  • Team Members adhere to a strict and frequent hand washing process with soap and water and alcohol-based hand sanitizer, which are reported by the CDC as the most effective methods at preventing spread of germs.
