Neighborhood Spotlight: Across Texas and Northern California, this Applebee’s® Franchisee is Giving Back to First Responders, Frontline Workers and their Team Members

Inspired by the commitmentof their team members in serving their neighborhoods, Applebee’s franchisee SSCP Management, Inc., has doubled its effort to supporthealthcare workers, first responders and frontline heroesfighting every day to save the lives of those who have fallen ill due to COVID-19.

Team members at Applebee’s in Garland and Temple, Texas, are preparing anddelivering meals to frontline workers at local hospitals and emergency rooms. Teams in Temple, Texas, also donated meals to local police, fire and sheriff’s departments.More than 300 lbs. of producewere donated by theApplebee’s team in Frisco and Little Elm, Texas, to stock the local food pantry of Frisco Family Services, an organization supporting those facing hunger, homelessness and other critical needs.

Leaders from SSCP Management have also come together to support their furloughed team members during this challenging time, by donating meals and providing other resources to those who need them. On Easter, all furloughed team members and their families received a free meal for four.
