North Dakota Applebee's Collecting Funds For North Dakota Flood Relief

Minot ND – Apple Core Enterprises, Inc., a restaurant franchise organization based in Minot, ND announced they will be conducting a fund drive for North Dakota Flood Relief at all North Dakota Applebee's. The fund drive will begin Wednesday, July 13 and go through Wednesday, July 27. Funds will be designated primarily to the North Dakota Salvation Army.

Annette Schilling, Marketing Director of Apple Core Enterprises said "Our executive team met to come up with some way to help the state with flood recovery. We have Applebee's in the state's largest communities and realized they would be the best collection sites for the effort." Schilling said, "So many of our own team members in Bismarck and especially Minot have been tremendously affected by the devastating floods – several were displaced or have lost their homes altogether. It's important to us to make sure we're taking care of our neighbors while they're recovering and rebuilding. We chose to donate the majority of the funds to the North Dakota Salvation Army because they've been present throughout the state offering food, shelter and clothing to those in need and their food bank and financial resources have been depleted or diminished greatly."

Diners will be offered the option to purchase paper apples with their guest checks and are welcome to donate any amount they choose. Guests are encouraged to write their name on the paper apple and any messages they would like to pass along to flood victims.

North Dakota has a total of eleven Applebee's locations in Williston, Dickinson, Minot, Bismarck, Jamestown, Fargo and Grand Forks. Donate Now!
